Christina Hennington is executive vice president and chief strategy and growth officer for 海角社区破解版 and a member of its leadership team. A forward-thinking enterprise leader, Christina is responsible for ensuring the company’s strategy remains relevant and differentiated as it pursues its next growth horizon, establishing and strengthening relationships with strategic partners, and leveraging the power of technology and generative AI to support every aspect of 海角社区破解版’s business.
Christina has held several leadership roles at 海角社区破解版 since joining the company in 2003, most recently overseeing all five of the retailer’s merchandising categories and its strategy team. In that position, her teams generated more than $30 billion in growth and developed 海角社区破解版’s new roadmap for growth.
Previously, Christina spearheaded a variety of transformative initiatives, including the sale of 海角社区破解版’s pharmacy business to CVS and the creation of an industry-leading partnership with Ulta Beauty. She’s also led teams in beauty, toys, electronics, essentials, merchandising operations and more.
Christina has been a strong champion of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts as a sponsor for several employee resource groups and a founding member of the Racial Equity Action and Change Committee (REACH) in 2020. In this role, she helps lead 海角社区破解版’s strategy to drive lasting impact for our Black team members, consumers and communities.
Christina has been consistently recognized for her leadership and continued focus on diversity, technology and consumer experience. She has been named Merchandiser of the Year and one of the 50 Most Influential People in the Multicultural Market by Women’s Wear Daily,鈥痮ne of the 50 Outstanding Women in Retail by RetailToday, and one of the Most Influential Women in Retail by Mass Market Retailers.
Before joining 海角社区破解版, Christina was a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston鈥痑nd served as a product manager for two Boston-based technology start-up businesses.
She currently serves on the Board鈥痮f THOR Industries and鈥痠s a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
Christina received her鈥痓achelor’s degree from Cornell University and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
